In some years it feels a little trite to promise that things will be interesting volatile and full of surprise, and then there is this year. Just a week or two into it and already it is all that and more. So we look forward to our annual oil price outlook discussion. Here are a few of the many issues we aim to explore this year:

• Supply and demand balances look very over-supplied, how over-supplied are they and could things improve sooner than most seem to think?
• If last year was a year of large supply growth dominating another middling demand performance; what is more likely to drive the oil fundamentals narrative this year, supply or demand?
• Perhaps related, could the global macro turn into a sustained tailwind for global oil (and energy) demand beyond most expectations … or,
• Will this be another year of deep uncertainty and unease and disturbingly slow growth in too many places?
• And what of that uncertainty, what oil and energy related geo-political crises could roil markets or endure longer still?

Once again, we cannot promise you a foolproof forecast, but will promise you valuable, thoughtful insights and entertaining debate.

This session will be in person in New York. ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED AS SPACE IS LIMITED.

We also ask you to participate in our annual price-outlook survey. Please submit your price estimates here. See link for our 2025 survey results.
