SPEAKER: 

Angelina LaRose

Angelina LaRose is the Director of the Office of Integrated and International Energy Analysis for the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). Working within EIA's Office of Energy Analysis, her office is responsible for the integration of analysis and modelling for EIA's long-term domestic and international projections, as published in EIA's Annual Energy Outlook and International Energy Outlook, respectively, as well as short-term forecasts, as published in EIA's Short-Term Energy Outlook.   Additionally, her office produces EIA's country-level analysis and international energy statistics.

Prior to serving in this role, Ms. LaRose led EIA's natural gas analysis team. For over ten years, she worked in natural gas analysis for EIA, and included in her team’s products were the Natural Gas Weekly Update and the Effects of LNG Exports on Domestic Energy Markets report. Prior to her leadership of the natural gas team, she was the product manager of EIA's Today in Energy when that publication was launched. Preceding her work at EIA, she worked as a senior energy analyst at a private consulting firm.

Ms. LaRose earned her Masters of Business Administration with a finance concentration and Bachelors of Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park.

David H. Knapp is President, Energy Forum Advisory Board and Chief Energy Economist and Senior Editor for Global Oil Market Analysis at Energy Intelligence Group in New York. He is Editor of EIG's monthly Oil Market Intelligence. He has analyzed energy markets for 40 years in the international, government, business and financial sectors. Dr. Knapp holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
