Please join the New York Energy Forum, in partnership with the Canadian Consulate and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, for a discussion with British Columbia Premier Christy Clark on "Seizing the Liquefied Natural Gas Opportunity"
The Honourable Christy Clark, Premier of British Columbia
The Honourable Christy Clark became Premier of British Columbia in March 2011 and was sworn in for a second term in June 2013.
With a strong mandate from the people of British Columbia, Premier Clark has continued her relentless work to strengthen British Columbia's economy by supporting economic development, controlling government spending, and building strong international trading relationships.
She is focused on seizing B.C.'s liquefied natural gas (LNG) opportunity - a cleaner energy source for the growing economies of Asia-Pacific, and the largest single contribution British Columbia can make in the fight against global climate change.
